my name is Gerhard Roth and I'm a student of the Katholische Universität Eichstätt. I'm attending a course to Eurolinguistics where we started a project to European Sociolinguistics. Therefor we shall contact linguists from other countries. My target country is Ireland. For this reason I want to ask you two questions:

1) Which role does intercultural competence play in secondary education in Ireland?

2) Which role does International English play in foreign language teaching in Ireland?
